Citylink AIR 900 coach
Scottish Citylink's AIR 900 is the only direct public service. It leaves from Stop D outside the terminal and runs up to every 20 minutes from 8am to about 8pm, then less often, including an hourly overnight service. The trip takes about an hour to Buchanan Street bus station. Check Citylink's website for fares and the full timetable.
The Citylink 902 also runs hourly in the daytime between the airport and Glasgow, calling at Livingston on the way.
Tram and train
There is no railway station at the airport. Take the tram a few stops to Edinburgh Park, where trains run to Glasgow. Combined tram and train tickets are sold at the machines in the check-in hall. This works well if your Glasgow address is near a station, but it means a change with your luggage.
Private transfer
A private car is the simplest way for families, groups and business travellers, and for anyone arriving after the coaches thin out in the evening. The M8 run takes about an hour, straight to your home, hotel or office anywhere in Glasgow.
With RTransfer the price is fixed at £98 per car one way in a saloon, or £176.40 return booked together. Flight tracking, meet & greet and 60 minutes' free waiting are included. See our city to city transfers.
