Part of our Edinburgh Airport taxi fares 2026 guide
Quick answer
You can pay for an RTransfer airport transfer in three ways: by card online when you book, by card in the car, or in cash to your driver. Companies and regular customers can ask for an invoice. Your price is the fixed price agreed when you book.

Ways to pay
| Method | When | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Card online | When you book | Paying in advance, booking for someone else |
| Card in the car | At the end of the journey | Paying on the day |
| Cash | At the end of the journey | Anyone who prefers cash |
| Invoice | On request | Companies, hotels, event organisers |
Your price is fixed when you book
Your fare is fixed when you book: £48 from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre and £98 to Glasgow in a saloon, with one fixed quote for other journeys. Extra charges may apply only if something changes, such as extra waiting or an extra stop, and are agreed with you first. See extra charges explained.
Paying for someone else
Booking for a parent, a student or a guest? Pay online when you book, and the traveller has nothing to pay on the day. See how to book for someone else.
Invoices for businesses
Companies, hotels, travel agents and event organisers can ask for an invoice. For regular bookings, a business account keeps everything in one place. More in our business travel guide.
Refunds
Cancellations more than 24 hours before pickup are refunded in full; within 24 hours, refunds may be limited or unavailable; no-shows are not refunded. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
